Graham Stuart

Stuart started his career off with Chelsea in 1989, spending four years at the club. He soon moved on to play for Everton in 1993, making over 150 appearances for the club. In 1997 he moved on to play for Sheffield United and his outstanding dedicated play at the outfit earned him a move to Charlton Athletic and he was instrumental at the club. He recorded over 175 appearances for the addicks and became an instant fans favourite. After six years at Charlton he spent his remaining days playing football with Norwich City.

Chris Powell

Powell began his career playing around the London area for Crystal Palace and then Southend United. Powell spent six years at Southend and made over 275 appearances for the club, arguably one of their greatest ever players. His great displays at Southend earned the player a move to premiership club, Derby County in 1996. He spent two years at the club before moving on to Charlton Athletic, spending six years at the club. He moved to Charlton for £825,000 in June 1998 and went on to make over 200 appearances at the club in what proved to be his first spell their. His outstanding play earned the player a call up to the England team, in total making 5 appearances for his nation. In the 2004-05 season he moved on to play for West Ham before joining Watford in 2005. He is now playing for Charlton Athletic once again.

Scott Parker

Parker made his debut for Charlton Athletic in August 1997 in a league match against Bury and he played a bit part role with the club for the following two seasons. It was not until November 2000 when Parker came to the fore of the Charlton side and he soon became a permanent fixture in the starting line up. His great displays earned him a call up to the national side in November 2003 and he soon moved on to play for Chelsea in January 2004, signing for £10 million. By the end of the 2003-04 season, parker was named as the ‘PFA Young player of the year.’ Parker moved to Newcastle in the summer of 2005 and is now club captain. He played for Charlton between 1993 and 2001 and made over 260 appearances for the club.

Shaun Newton

Newton made an impact during his time at Charlton Athletic playing in his favoured right sided midfield position. Newton spent eight seasons playing at the Valley before moving on to play for Wolves in 2001. After 4 years with Wolverhampton Wanderers he moved to West Ham United in 2005 and became a regular in the squad for the Hammers.
