Keith Peacock

Peacock starred in the same Charlton side that featured Mike Flanagan and Derek hales. He was a really fast winger who soon established himself at the heart of the Addicks midfield, nicknamed the ‘midfield general.’ Charlton was the only club that Peacock played for during his successful career and he went on to record an incredible 533 appearances for the club. Peacock was an archetypal English player who loved playing for the Addicks. He later on became assistant manager of Charlton while Alan Curbishley was in charge.

Derek Hales

Hales started off his fantastic career at Luton Town, and was widely regarded as one of the most threatening goal scorers in the football league. His great play earned him a move to Charlton Athletic in 1973 for £4000. He spent three years at the club and was prolific in front of goal. He soon enjoyed a short spell playing for Derby County before returning to the Valley, spending five more years at the club. He is the proud record holder of most goals ever scored for Charlton FC, scoring a staggering 168 goals in 368 matches for the club.
